Research
Work Better Innovations conducts expert research in international human rights law and international labour standards to contribute to the realisation of ethical supply chains worldwide.
Our research is integrated into our business relationship with brands, industry groups, civil society organisations, consultancies and universities. We believe in policy reforms led by accurate understanding, especially when issues are complicated and involve different sectors, countries and stakeholds.
We are currently building a bespoke forced labour education and prevention pilot programme to be rolled out for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), pivotal in the economic fabric of many communities.
International Studies
Work Better Innovations co-wrote a key report commissioned by the International Labour Organization in 2021 on how to improve access to justice for migrant workers. Following this work, we have undertaken very technical assessments on forced labour risks across our client-based work.
University Lectures
Work Better Innovations is active in shaping and disseminating global academic discourse on migration, responsible recruitment and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We are frequently invited by world-renowned universities to take part in discussing issues affecting the labour market and find innovative solutions.
